With the latest rental specification of diesel generators from MacGen (Himoinsa) & JCB, we are well placed to support your Rental Generator needs throughout Ireland. We pride ourselves on having a modern high-spec fleet coupled with excellent backup support and robust service and maintenance systems going above and beyond the manufacturer guidelines, so our equipment is always in top order.
Our stage V generator supplier MacGen (HIMOINSA) has designed generator sets with Yanmar, FPT and Scania engines that include a new after-treatment system to guarantee an emissions reduction that is in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/1628 for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM). This has implied a qualitative leap that ensures a reduction of up to 90% of emissions of harmful components with respect to the previous technology. Guaranteeing a wide power range, the S5 range has been designed considering such factors as maintenance, durability, fuel consumption, and the final cost of the machine to make it one of the most competitive products in the rental sector in Europe.
One of the main components of the Stage 5 generator sets is their control units, meticulously designed to ensure a secure and efficient coordination with the control units of the new Stage V engines.
These are compact generator sets that integrate all emission reduction systems and AdBlue’s tank in a robust and functional canopy. The new range incorporates a heavy-duty chassis whose pull skid has been reinforced and also includes protections at the accesses for forklift. The drip tray is designed to withstand 100% of the engine liquids.
We also offer a modern range of stage IIIa emissions compliant (compliant with the NRMM {Non-Road Mobile Machinery}) generators that when combined with our hybrid battery units provide considerable emissions reductions due to much lowered engine run time.
Sustainable Power Solutions can provide rental generators ranging from 20kVA right up to 100kVA on both short term or long term hire. With fully standard output socket packs on each node size, you can be sure to know exactly what will turn up. All Generators up to 100KVA can be fully Road-towable for those harder to access areas or simply for ease of manoeuvrability at the work site.
Hybrid Battery Units (Hybrid Generators)
Hussh Pods, our three phase and single-phase hybrid battery unit systems, offers a convenient and efficient method of delivering power to any site environment without a grid connection. Whether a site needs power for lighting, welfare cabins, security huts or site tools and equipment our Hussh Pods will deliver power far more efficiently than a generator alone. The Hussh Pod 30/45 has unparalleled performance – reducing both harmful emissions and noise pollution. The principle is that the generator charges the hybrid part of the system whilst it is in normal operation. This enables the project to switch on to stored battery power for low loads once the site closes each evening for example. This eliminates noise at night and reduces engine running time and, hence, fuel consumption and emissions. Changeover for generator to Hybrid Battery and generator control to on off is all controlled by the hybrid battery unit itself requiring no user input after setup is completed.
The Hussh Pod delivers reliable, clean, energy and can be combined with solar renewable and generator charging.
In addition, for more intelligent power management and even greater emissions reductions the Hussh Pod can be combined with smart distribution products to allow loads to be fed independently and programmed with their own unique schedules and shut down fully when not in use to ensure no wasted power consumption is taking place. Our Hussh Pod Hybrid Battery Units are compatible with all the diesel generators we supply here at Sustainable Power Solution but can also be connected to your own generator once it has an autostart function (of which most modern generators do). Distribution & Cables
Our 63A three-phase mains distribution units are designed to distribute temporary power from one area to another. The 63A and 32A 3 phase plug and play distribution boards are easy to relocate across site and blends in with the surrounding environment. Equipment housed in a polyethylene enclosure, with recessed Socket and Switchgear panels for mechanical protection. Enclosure incorporates integrated lifting handles and rails for ease of handling and stacking. Inlet supply has phase rotation monitor and each outlet has a red ‘Power On’ neon light. External brass earth stud.
Our metal enclosed distribution boards are housed in a 1.4003 stainless steel enclosure, designed to IP55 with a textured powder coat finish to RAL 7021 – dark grey. The site distribution board features two doors – the main door, which allows the user access to the final distribution circuits and has a padlock facility which is designed as an additional safety feature. The second door allows the user access to the mains switch only. The enclosure is mounted within a galvanized box section floor stand which can be easily relocated across site
Providing three phase cable leads designed to connect the temporary power network from the generator directly to the end user. All our three phase (400V) extension leads are fitted with a 5 pin IP67 Mennekes plug and coupler at each end and come in a range of lengths from 5 meters to 20 meters.
